Electronics Projects is the fourth CD ROM in the highly successful Matrix Electronics Education Series.

Electronic Projects is split into 2 main sections:

Building Electronic Projects contains comprehensive information about the components, tools and techniques used in developing projects from initial concept through to final circuit board production. Extensive use is made of video presentations showing construction techniques.

The second section contains a set of ten projects for students to build, ranging from simple sensor circuits through to power amplifiers. A shareware version of Matrix’s CADPACK schematic capture, circuit simulation and PCB design software is included.

The CD ROM is designed to complement the theoretical knowledge gained by working through the three existing CDs in the Electronics Education Series - Electronic Circuits & Components, Analog Electronics, and Digital Electronics. The CD will be of use to those studying electronics at a wide range of levels from design and technology at age 13 through to undergraduate level, or for those learning electronics at home.

The projects on the CD ROM include:

  • Logic Probe
  • Light, Heat and Moisture Sensor
  • NE555 Timer
  • Egg Timer
  • Dice Machine
  • Bike Alarm
  • Stereo Mixer
  • Power Amplifier
  • Sound Activated Switch
  • Reaction Tester

Full parts lists, schematics and PCB layouts are included on the CD ROM.
