Analog Electronics is a complete learning resource for the most difficult branch of electronics. The CD includes a host of virtual laboratories, animations, diagrams, photos, and text, as well as a SPICE electronic circuit simulator with over 50 pre-designed circuits.

Functions
The component values on all circuits can be edited, and you can perform experiments with the simulation engine to see how the value of each component affects circuit performance. You can, for instance, alter frequency and phase angle and plot outputs on a virtual oscilloscope or show load-line graphs, and so forth.

Coverage (sections on the CD-ROM include):

Fundamentals: Analog Signals (5 sections), Transistors (4 sections), Waveshaping Circuits (6 sections).

Opamps: 17 sections covering everything from Symbols and Signal Conditioning to Differentiators.

Amplifiers: Single Stage Amplifiers (8 sections) and Multi-stage Amplifiers (3 sections).

Filters: Passive Filters (10 sections) and Active Filters (6 sections).

Oscillators: 6 sections from Positive Feedback to Crystal Oscillators.

Systems: 12 sections from Audio Pre-Amplifiers to 8-bit ADC, plus a gallery showing representative PCB photos.
