A beautiful four-channel lighting effect for your Christmas tree or festive party.
Last year, the large Christmas tree in the author's local shopping center was decorated with hundreds of white twinkling lights. Each bulb appeared to be flashing independently of the others giving a very beautiful effect. This led to the design of the circuit presented here, which is a smaller version of the display. It could be used for Christmas trees in the home and for other types of display in discos and so on.
