It’s a bit like Robot Wars without the expense or destruction!

Unless you are a dedicated radio control enthusiast the fun soon goes out of driving a radio controlled (RC) model car around the patio. The circuit described here will put back some of the fun into what is otherwise a solitary amusement and turn it into a battle for life or death.

At least two RC cars are required operating on different frequencies. The object of the “new” game is to avoid being hit yourself whilst scoring three hits on your opponent’s car. This is a little like the popular TV game of Robot Wars. Unlike Robot Wars, however, simply pressing a reset button returns you to the next game with another three lives – no extensive repair work necessary. Warning! You may find yourself spending too much time playing and being unable to do the dishes, wash the car, mow the lawn, clean the windows... etc.
